Breadcrumb
A breadcrumb is a secondary navigation element that shows users their current location within a website's hierarchy, typically displayed as a horizontal path such as "Home > Category > Subcategory > Page." Google supports breadcrumb structured data markup (Schema.org BreadcrumbList) which can enhance SERP appearance.
Breadcrumbs can be implemented and validated using Google's Rich Results Test and monitored in Google Search Console's Rich Results report. Screaming Frog can crawl a site to verify that breadcrumb markup is correctly applied across all paginated and category pages.
