Other anchor texts (sometimes called generic anchor texts) include hyperlinks using non-keyword, non-branded phrases such as "click here," "read more," "this article," "visit website," or similar generic calls-to-action. A healthy backlink profile contains a significant percentage of generic and naked anchors alongside branded terms, which signals organic link acquisition rather than manipulative link building.
