Trust Flow
Trust Flow is a proprietary metric developed by Majestic SEO that measures the quality and trustworthiness of backlinks pointing to a website, scored on a scale of 0–100. It is calculated based on the proximity of a URL to a set of trusted seed sites (authoritative, editorially curated websites). It is complementary to Citation Flow, which measures link quantity.
Trust Flow is tracked using Majestic's Site Explorer, Bulk Backlink Checker, and Historic Index tools. Comparing Trust Flow to Citation Flow (a ratio near 1:1 or higher is considered healthy) is a reliable way to assess overall link quality. Ahrefs' Domain Rating and Moz's Domain Authority provide similar but independently calculated alternatives.
