Code 302
A 302 redirect is a temporary HTTP redirect that signals to browsers and search engines that the requested URL has been temporarily moved to a new location. Unlike a 301, a 302 redirect does not permanently transfer link equity to the destination URL, and Google may continue to index the original page.
Temporary redirects are audited using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs Site Audit, and SEMrush Site Audit, which flag 302 redirects for review. Google Search Console's Coverage and URL Inspection tools can confirm how Google is treating pages affected by 302 redirects.
