PageSpeed Insights
Google PageSpeed Insights (PSI) is a free tool from Google that analyzes the performance of a web page for both mobile and desktop devices, providing a performance score (0–100) based on Google Lighthouse metrics along with real-world Core Web Vitals data from the Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX). It was developed by the Google Chrome team.
PageSpeed Insights provides both lab data (Lighthouse-generated) and field data (real-user CrUX metrics) including LCP, FID/INP, CLS, and FCP. Its actionable recommendations — categorized as Opportunities and Diagnostics — guide optimizations that are also tracked via Google Search Console's Core Web Vitals report.
