Weak AI
Weak AI (also called narrow AI) refers to systems that excel at a single, well-defined task—such as image recognition, spam filtering, or playing chess—but cannot transfer that knowledge to unrelated domains.
Most commercially deployed AI today is weak AI. Contrast with Strong AI or General AI, which remains largely theoretical.
